System scans carts at checkout to meet customizable Service rules DODAAC validation –Various processes within the DOD EMALL application, e.g. checkout and registration, accept user entered DODAAC values The application requires the ability to confirm the validity of their use as bill- to addresses. Army Funds Control Module (FCM) –FCM processing required for all line items where Bill to DODAAC starts with “W” and Signal Code is NOT “D” or “M”. Currently only utilized for Army. Credit card validation –For credit card payment types, the orders application submits payment requests to the payment processor which in turn makes external requests to Pay.gov. Pay.gov will validate then send the response back to DOD EMALL. Order transmission –Orders are submitted from the shopping application (checkout) to the order processing application. This can either go directly to the commercial vendor or via DTS to EBS. These transactions are sent via XML. MILSTRIP Order Entry System (MOES) –MOES is a web application that allows users to enter various forms of MILSTRIP and DDE documents. These documents are verified and uploaded to the Defense Automated Addressing System Center (DLA Transaction Services) for processing.
