Bullets are fired with a lot of force. This force carries pieces of glass through the hole and out the other side. Glass fragments tend to stick out at the exit hole.

Sequence of Shots How can you tell the order in which shots were fired? – Look at the radial fractures. – An existing fracture will stop a new fracture. – Older fractures will have longer radial fractures. Once new shots are fired, their radial fractures will end at the radial fractures of older shots.

To determine which angle a shot was fired from, use test shots in same type of glass.
