2 The EasyWay/EIP community has been funded to work with several ITS corridors – Traffic management – Traffic information The idea is to implement and deploy transport logistics services in such an ITS corridor – NEXT-ITS To better support both the commercial actors and the traffic management function Information inftrastucture and services for logitistics

3 The new services will make use of the “service infrastructure” in the ITS corridor Services will have to be harmonised, interconnected and interoperable – Provide an application to the different types of users Implementation partners: Road administrations, ferry company, truck companies Information inftrastucture and services for logitistics

5 HUB development This proposal addresses the hubs and how to prepare for Physical Internet => To write a proposal for MG-5.4-2017. Potential of the Physical Internet The physical characteristics of a hub must be changed to be able to efficiently receive and send (same type of) goods regardless of transport mode

6 HUB development The information exchange capabilities of the hubs must be aligned Interoperability-interfaces Hub as a service! Implementation partner: Multimodal HUB
