2.  Sonny Bill was born on the 3rd of August 1985 in Auckland, he is now 29.He grew up in central Auckland and went to Owairaka primary school and Mt Albert Grammar School.He played rugby league for Marist from a young age.

3.  John Williams is Sonny Bill’s dad and Lee Williams is his mum.Sonny Bill grew up with his parents,his older brother John Arthur and his twin sisters Niall and Denise. Sonny Bill got his name from his uncle Sonny and his grandfather Bill. He got married to Alana Raffie and they have a daughter.

4.  While Sonny Bill was playing for Marist he was spotted by a Bulldogs scout and went to play for the Bulldogs from 2004 to half way through 2008. He left the Bulldogs to go play rugby union for a French club Toulon from 2008 to 2010. After that he went to play for Canterbury in the ITM Cup in 2010. In 2011 he played for the Crusaders and in 2012 he played for the Chiefs. In 2013 he played for a Japanese Panasonic rugby team and in 2014 he played for Counties Manukau. This year he is playing for the Chiefs again and during all that he was doing some boxing.

5.  Sonny bill was awarded the Rugby League International Federation (RLIF) player of the year and he also got the Provan Summons Award. Sonny Bill was ranked as one of the top 100 Heavyweight boxers in the world.
