2. Total Depravity (a corrupt act or practice) Through Adam’s fall, every human is born sinful. This is the concept of “original sin.”

3. The doctrine of election God would freely choose those He would save and those He would damn eternally (off to Hell). No one knows if they are damned or saved.

4. Predestination - Only a few are selected for salvation.

5. Limited Atonement: Jesus died for the chosen only, not for everyone.

6. Irresistible grace(Grace is defined as the saving and transfiguring power of God.) God’s grace is freely given. It cannot be earned or denied.

7. Perseverance of the “Saints”(To keep going on something, even though there are obstacles and other challenges you have to go through.) Those elected by God have full power to interpret the will of God. This meant they freely told others how to live their lives. (The Saints were the elect--they did not have to be ministers.)
