The Help Our Students Travel (HOST) Program, coordinated by the Medicine Alumni Society, matches students with alumni volunteers who provide students with a free place to stay as well as offer invaluable advice about residency training, the prospective medical center and community in which they are interviewing.

I had nothing but fabulous interactions with kind and generous hosts who gave a pleasant, personal touch to the long, busy and expensive interview trail.” -- 4th Year Medical Student Students save an average of $150-$200 -- hotel, car rentals, meals and other travel related expenses – per night. That’s equivalent to providing a $500 scholarship/grant to each student participant.
