2. Entrepreneurial Sharks is a modern, all-Poland educational project addressed to secondary school students, which consists of a Student Internet Stock Market Game and an E-Learning Course. The originator of this project is the Capital Market Education Foundation. The aim of the project is to educate the youth about the capital market and the stock exchange rules. The project is sponsored by the European Union within the European Social Fund.

3. 1. The game begins with an online registration of teams. In order to enter a team for the game, a teacher who is a supervisor of the team has to fill in an electronic form with personal details of the students between 1 st September and 1 st October 2010. 2. Teams which are confirmed by the national coordinator get their logins and passwords to the website of the game. 3. The work of each team is supervised by the teacher. 4. A team can consist of 3 or 4 students. Each student can be a member of only one team. 5. Each team chooses a name for themselves.

4. 6. The main game lasts from 15 th October 2010 to 15 th January 2011. The play-off lasts from 1 st March 2011 to 31 st March 2011. 7. During the game the contestants have an access to the Warsaw Stock Exchange website and current quotations of the companies registered there. 8. The participants may obtain a bonus (the prize of the month) in the form of additional points for the greatest percentage change of the value of their portfolio on 12 th November 2010, 17 th December 2010 and 14 th January 2011.

5. 9. The students can also obtain extra virtual money for their active participation in the E-Learning Course. This money will be available after the end of the main game. If more members of a team have taken part in the course, they will have a bigger chance to get the money. 10. Teams are classified according to the value of their portfolio at the end of the game, including the extra points scored for participation in the E-Learning Course. The best five teams will be awarded one of the main prizes and another three will get a distinction.

6. 1. At the beginning of the game each team gets virtual money at the amount of 100.000 PLN. 2. The money is accumulated on an account which is part of the investment account of the team together with a stock account. 3. During the game the teams invest their means and try to multiply them.

7. 5. Each team can buy and sell stocks. 6. Each team has to make a transaction in time or they will be disqualified. 7. The teams can also create bank investments which have fixed interest rates and their minimal amount is 1.000 PLN. 8. The status of the portfolio of each team is automatically saved by 5 o’clock p.m. each day of the session. 4. The subject of virtual investments can only be stocks of authentic companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange which are quoted on the day of the beginning of the game.

8. 1. The course consists of basic and additional contents concerning the capital market. 2. Each module finishes with an online quiz which consists of 7 questions. 4 correct answers give you the pass. You have 24 hours to retake the quiz. 3. At the end of the course there is an online test. You can take the test if you have passed at least 8 of 10 quizzes. 4. The participants of the course have an access to an online forum where they can ask the national coordinator questions. 5. After each quiz the student gets points which are converted to virtual money and added to the portfolio of the team. The maximum amount is virtual 5.000 PLN (the equivalent of 10 bonuses of 500 PLN each for maximum number of points scored in all the quizes).
