2. About My Person Lincoln was the sixteenth president of the United States. He was born in Feburary12, 1809. He died in April15, 1865. Abraham Lincoln was sixty five years old when he died. He was married to Mary Todd Lincoln.

3. About Lincolns Family Lincoln had three sons: William, Robert, and Tad. He was closer to his mother then his father His mother died in 1818, and the following year his father remarried.

4. Facts About Lincoln When Lincoln was a young boy he had many friends. He made many speeches, most of his speeches were very good. Slavery was introduced in the 1619, therefore he did not like it, he wanted to abolish it. He did not want to abolish slavery with violence, he thought that it would eventually go away. He soon fell in love with Mary Todd Lincoln, they were engaged but Lincoln did not think that he could handle a family so he called it off.

5. More stuff….(facts)!!!!!! A lot of people did not like Lincoln. Lincoln wasn’t even on the ballot. He was a republican, and he was the first member of his party to become president. He was of course, the first U.S. president to be assassinated. Abraham received less then 40% of the popular vote in winning the presidential election of 1860. He also, helped end slavery and helped the country not fall apart. Lincoln became a remarkable war leader.

6. Lincolns…Assassination !!! On April4, 1865 the Lincolns attended a play called “Our American Cousins” at fords theatre. There was a man named Booth who did not like him and hated every single word that came out of his mouth. During the performance Booth went into the president circle and shoot Lincoln in the back of his head.
