All essential features are in plain sight. Features are easy to access, Example: Inventory of devices, Shares, Warranty Center, Various Charts, Security Center, Timeline…etc

Inventory Of Devices The Inventory shows devices on network.
When each device is clicked, an in depth summary is shown ex: Timeline, Events, General Info, Configuration, Software, Network Shares, Notes, and Documents.

Timeline The Timeline expresses the events that are taking place network wide ex: Program installs, Warranty updates, and changes to environments.

Warranty Center The Warranty Center gives us a constant update on the warranty status on our investments. How it works: During the daily scan Spiceworks researches the Service tag and pull information from manufacture.

Charts Various Charts can be generated on the dashboard making our data user friendly and easier to understand. The type of Charts that can be generated: Anti-virus summary, software versions, up to date or out of date and various products being used. Environment hardware inventory, Dell, IBM, etc. Event history ex: Scan errors by day

Security Center The Security Center scopes the network for anti-virus on devices. It pull the developer, the version and if it is out of date with the most current version of that software.

Network Scan The Network Scan utility is what Spiceworks uses to pole its information pertaining to the devices it finds on the network. With Network Scan you have the ability to type subnets of your environment so it can scan the network to tally your inventory. Depending on how large the company, a Network Scan could take longer than a day.

Network Scan Over the course of the scan Spiceworks pulls information of the devices it finds. For best results an administrator account is required to pole the devices. An example of the information Spiceworks poles is the software on the device, its hardware specs, anti-virus status, hard drive space and much more.

Reports Spiceworks uses the information poled from the network scans to provide reports of great value. Example: Purchase dates of hardware deployed in the environment. Services on computers You also have the option to customize your reports based on what information you want to retrieve. Anything is possible.

Monitor & Alerts Spiceworks also offers the opportunity to monitor your environment. Some Examples: Hard drive space remaining on all or particular devices. Printer ink or toner levels. Warranty Expiration, remaining protection available. Create your own Monitors & Alerts.
