2 K1577/AB Addendum 19 CERN & ESS will jointly study and agree a test programme CERN will source, prepare and make available test stands and equipment to enable test of relevant parameters and requirements The IOT will be tested for ESS and CERN SPL operational parameters CERN will allocate test time, resources and utilities for an extended test of the IOT > months ESS and CERN shall jointly prepare a report no later than October 2016 provided that IOT are delivered on time to permit the testing programme to be started no later than 01 October 2015 The test stand shall remain property of CERN The IOT shall remain property of ESS

SPS 800 MHz spare TX (to be validated at 704 MHz) David did a more detailed study: LHC2 is almost the only acceptable place SR2 ? Drivers IOT HVPS Capacitor bank Crowbar RF load Two SPS 800 MHz spare loads (to be validated at 704 MHz, simulations ok) + Splitter to be designed and to be built LVPS Olivier agreed to lend one ‘LHC spare’
