3 How to adjust gas turbine performance calculated by GT PRO to that provided from a vendor Let’s assume that you have done some preliminary cycle analyses using the GT PRO database of gas turbines. You have selected the appropriate gas turbine, and want to further refine your heat balance calculations to reflect the current production model performance.

4 How to adjust gas turbine performance calculated by GT PRO to that provided from a vendor You call your gas turbine vendor requesting performance for the specific site conditions for your proposed plant. They comply, and now you want to ensure that GT PRO’s calculations reflect the vendor supplied gas turbine performance. Vendor’s data - Output -113000 kW T exh - 990 °F M exh -830 #/sec.

33 To match the gas turbine performance calculated by GT PRO with that provided by a vendor, go to ; from there, select the tab and : Match the air flow by adjusting Match exhaust temperature by adjusting Match output by adjusting Positive number decreases output; negative number increases output by ~ twice the entered percentage of change.

34 GT PRO will now calculate gas turbine performance consistent with that received from the vendor. Since adjusting one parameter could have impacts on other parameters, additional iterations may be required. Two significant points - The sequence of adjustments must be done in the proper sequence or solution may not converge – air flow, control temperature, compressor efficiency
