2 1.The first step to an affirmative command is to conjugate your verb for “yo” in present tense. 2.Next, you drop the “o” off of the end. 3.Lastly, you add the third person ending for the verb on the end For –ar verbs, add “a” For –er/ir verbs, add “e”

3 In a simpler form, the affirmative command steps.

4 Start with your verb -Nadar Here is an example of how you would tell someone to swim. Nadar Conjugate for yo -Nado Drop the “o” -Nad Add third person ending -Nada So, this is how you say, “Swim!” “¡Nada!”

5 Here is how you would tell someone to read the book. Leer1. Leo2. Le3. Lee “ Read the book.” “Lee el libro.”
