4 Incisors Location: In the front and center of the mouth. Shape: broad, sharp edge.Use: Used to cut or bite food with their thin edges.Extra info:Central incisors are in the center.lateral incisors are on the sides of the centrals.elizabeth
6 Cuspids Location: At angles of lips. Shape: longest teeth in mouth. anchored with the longest root, one pointed cusp.Use: used to tear food and hold food.Extra info: also called canines, or eyeteeth.Elizabeth
8 Bicuspids Location: located before the molars, from front to back. Shape: a bifurcated root, all others have one root, one prominent cusp with one or two lesser lingual cusps.Use: used to pulverize or grind food. Maxillary first premolars have a bifurcated root. 12 Primary/ Deciduous, teeth This is the first set of teeth. Also called baby teeth.Its very important to maintain your primary teeth because if you don't it can and will affect your permanent teeth.Josh
13 Primary/ Deciduous, teeth The first primary tooth comes in at about 6 months of age and the 20th and last primary tooth erupts at around 2 1/2 years of age.There are twenty primary teeth.
