2 报告内容: This interactive presentation provides an introduction to Texas ERCOT Nodal Electricity Market, from both architecture- wise to component-perspective. The focus is on implementation techniques of core functionality, e.g. SCUC and SCED. The particular interest is in the area of application of mixed integer programming for market clearing engine and stochastic optimization for bidding strategy analysis. The important building blocks within Texas Nodal Market including day-ahead market, reliability unit commitment, real-time market, congestion revenue right market, and network model management system will be covered.

3 报告人简介: Dr. Feng Gao is Lead Engineer of State Grid Smart Grid Research Institute, North America Inc. Prior to joining SGRI, he was working for Ventyx, an ABB company in its application software development unit. As a core developer, he has been actively involved in Texas ERCOT Market Management System’s design and development. He served as Support Lead for ERCOT day-ahead market. His research interests include Electricity Market Economic Operation, Unit Commitment, Economic Dispatch, Bidding Strategy, Optimization and Big Data Analytics application in power system.
