Offences & Penalties If any person or food business operator (except those coming under the purview of registration) who manufactures, sells, stores or distributes or imports any article of food without a license will be punishable Imprisonment for a term that can extend to 6 months and a Fine that may extend to Rs. 5 lakhs.
