Enlightenment Directions If you are an ARTISTS: 1.Read about your philosopher. 2.As a GROUP create a VISUAL that BEST represents the ideas of the philosopher. Be ABLE to justify your creation. If you are a ORATOR: 1.Read about the philosophers. 2.As a GROUP determine what concepts/ideas each philosopher was championing. Must be able to discuss. All groups MUST consider for each philosopher: 1.Did he think people can be trusted to govern? 2.Was he more democratic or more authoritarian?

Presentation Directions The ORATORS will analyze the visual and interpret the meaning. The ARTISTS will give REASONS for agreeing or disagreeing.
