will be creating 1 advertisement. Will be creating 1 newscast (with a partner). The purpose of both: to SELL the books you read. Your job is to convince your audience (all of us – teacher, classmates) that YOUR book is one that they should read. Your mission, should you choose to accept it….
1.Elements of plot (exposition, rising action) - don’t give away the ending. 2.Theme (I.e.: The message I got from this story is…) 3.Your favorite line from the book (directly quoted). 4.Three reasons why we should read it. 5.The ad needs to be about 30 seconds long. Requirements: Include a show title (Book Talk, Book Chat, Library Lady, etc.) Be a character from the book. Include a script to give to your partner and they will interview you during that segment. (May be used during presentation.) Include costumes. (optional) Include props. (optional) Include an intro to your show (including title, anchor, and/or music – be creative!)
