6. WORD 3 - WISDOM To teach effectively there is a need for wisdom Wisdom is the application of truth not the gathering of knowledge. Wisdom builds character. Proverbs 9:8-9 ‘Rebuke a wise man and he will love you. Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still.’

7. WORD 4 – PERFECT / MATURITY Gk = teleios = a state of full development Discipleship is a journey from Milk to solid food = Hebrews 5:12 Child > Young man > Father =1 John

8. AND FOR US TODAY? 1. We are ALL on a journey towards maturity Therefore – be careful how we think of ourselves and others! Philippians 3:14-15 ‘Not that I have already obtained all this or have already been made perfect…..but I press on toward the goal….all us who are mature should take such a view of things.’
