2 Important Dates November 15All portfolios must be submitted to the appropriate LiveText Account. November 21Program Coordinators will notify students regarding necessary resubmissions. You may re-submit ONE time before the final grade is posted. November 29All re-submitted portfolios are due. December 6Program Coordinators will notify you of your pass/fail status.

4 Assessment Rubric - AQTS AQTS One: Content Knowledge 4 Excellent, Area of Strength (4 pts) 3 Proficient, On Target (3 pts) 2 Needs Improvement (2 pts) 1 Unsatisfactory (1 pt) Artifacts (1%) Reserved for exceptional strength in a particular standard! Proficient; realistic expectation for initial certification candidates Reflection (83%) Written Expression (15%) Professional Presentation (1%) For each AQTS Standard, there are 400 possible points. 75% or 300 points on each standard is considered a proficient score; a realistic expectation for initial certification candidates. All five AQTS Standards must be met at 72% or 288 points in order for a candidate to be recommended for certification. Above 75% or 300 points in considered exceptional!

6 Common Questions What if I don’t have the artifact listed in the portfolio template?  Provide an artifact that will attest to your knowledge of/proficiency with that standard.  Within the reflection AND the section, acknowledge the fact that you are posting a different artifact and offer a reason.  “During my enrollment in ED 411/511, we were not required to complete a Case Study, I’ve attached this research paper titled The Impact of Scripted Reading Programs to attest to my knowledge of Literacy.”

7 Common Questions Should I change to the new portfolio template?  Both Elementary and Secondary/P-12 Art portfolios have new templates with revisions.  Three options  Use the new template as a reference.  Create a new portfolio template and upload your documents again.  Forget the new template and use the documentation on the UM LiveText Wiki as a guide.  Elementary Reflection Handbook  Secondary Exit Portfolio PowerPoint
