Materials
Cardboard (heavy cardboard or cereal boxes),
Scissors,
Masking tape,
12 inch ruler,
Graph Paper

6. Procedure
1. Use your imagination to find a cardboard or cereal box to use as a swimming pool foundation. 2. Calculate accurately the total amount of the box cardboard with measuring tape. Measure the length, width, height. (Remember the area of each rectangle is length x width) 3. Calculate the capacity of the box. (Remember the volume is length x width x height)
4. Use the graph paper to draw the swimming pool proportionally. Must show the scale factor and dimensions (length, width, height) 5. Personalize it, color it, and beautify it.

7. Questions 1. Name or draw different types of pool in Rapid Water Park.
2. Name what two easy parts on this project.
3. Name what two hard parts on this project.
4. Do you think using a measuring tape was accurate? Why?
5. Select one of the pools in Rapid Water Park and estimate the capacity of the water.
