9 Electricity Electrical outlets strategically placed Equipment & modalities should be used w/out extension cords Ground fault interrupters (GFI): mini circuit breaker that will stop the flow of electricity in the event of a short of contact with water

10 Ventilation & Heating Heated/cooled to comfortable level Busy; lots of traffic/movement Equipment that requires heat can lead to humidity Most athletes in shorts

37 Cleaning Spills For a small spill use an absorbing pad (paper towel) and discard properly For a larger spill use an absorbing powder to absorb the liquid Decontaminate the area with a disinfectant Any soiled protective equipment must be discarded properly

38 Daily Cleaning Procedures Clean all surfaces with disinfectant spray Wipe surfaces with a clean, dry towel  Tables and high-use surfaces should be cleaned after each treatment Clean all surfaces of whirlpool with disinfectant, rinse, and clean with dry towel
