NSDS An NSDS enables developing countries to build a reliable statistical system To produce the data necessary to design, implement, and monitor national development policies and programmes. Dissemination of Information On-line information info include: – census questionnaires – technical notes – tabulated results – 8 out of 15 countries disseminate on-line results But, very few provide the questionnaire and technical notes including the metadata

Integrated Statistics System It is possible to plan and develop a comprehensive statistical programme: – Without duplication of statistical activities – Without release of conflicting statistics, – With efficient and balanced use of available statistical resources – With compatible concepts, definitions and classifications used in the different statistical activities – Would facilitate interpretation and analysis of related data from different sources.
