$500 Question from Diet Our group hunted salmon, other fish, and shellfish from the ocean and rivers near us. We hunted for deer, beavers, caribou, and bears. We also ate roots and berries that we gathered, because we DIDN’T farm, but we LOVE to have potlatches.
$400 Question from Shelter We built igloos while we were on hunting trips, which are made out of hard blocks of ice. They only took us about an hour to build. We lived in tent-like homes dug into the ground during the rest of the year.
$400 Question from Clothing We wore two layers of clothing made from the caribou and polar bear skins that we hunted. We needed these to stay warm in our frigid environment. We also invented parkas and goggles!
$500 Question from Clothing Our tribe used shredded inner bark of cedar trees and animal hides to make WATERPROOF clothing because our climate was so wet. These materials made it easy to move around for hunting berries and trapping salmon.
