St Martin’s Infant and Junior Schools, Epsom additional 1FE completed 2014 Poor long drawn out building experience Significant disruption to the Junior School Lots for the money – hall extension, new staff room, new offices, new entrance, kitchen refurbished, new boiler etc 210 extra places each year in good Church Schools

St Bartholomew’s Primary, Haslemere increase in KS1 PAN from 45 to 60 2014 Difficult expansion to achieve including loss of use of hall but using a temporary marquee Hall expansion New staff room Improved circulation around school Many long term positives not possible through any other funding programme

Wonersh and Shamley Green Infant to Primary expansion, build completed 2014 Infant schools under ever increasing financial pressure LCVAP and DFC insufficient even for maintenance of the existing estate (?VC and community schools? ACMF?) Basic Need the only opportunity to achieve suitability works (hall extensions, staff room expansions, group rooms etc) Many more places added in community schools than church schools (Surrey 144 new classes from September 2014 for an additional 4,023 pupils)

All Saint’s Junior School, Fleet additional 1FE from 2014 Best way to address adjacencies (how parts of the school work together) involved works to 4 different areas of the school but that’s like being on one big building site and involves an extended period of building work. Short term pain for long term gain. Lots for the money (6 new classrooms, hall extension, community room, new playground, car parking, landscaping)

Queen Eleanor’s Junior School, Guildford additional 1FE from 2014

Grayswood Infant to Primary expansion 2014 build due to be completed 2015 Tight site but just possible

Lyne and Longcross Infant to Primary expansion build due to be completed 2015 Difficult planning application with implications for managing expectations when delays occur Involves demolishing 2 existing buildings both with maintenance issues

Be prepared Shere Infant School has a full feasibility study should the opportunity to expand arise (including the possibility of needing a new site) Chilworth Infant School has a full feasibility study and the Diocese has purchased a field adjacent to the school
