They are: Human beings are changing the environment by building cities and villages where forests once stood, affecting the water supply by using water for industry and agriculture, changing weather conditions by cutting down trees in the forests and destroying the air by adding pollutants to it.

14 2- What are the serious consequences of people’s interference with the environment? - They are many kinds of animals are killed, the environment where animals are living is badly destroyed and the number of rare animals are decreasing so rapidly that they are in danger of extinction. 3- What has been done to protect the environment? Many things have been done to protect the environment such as many organizations have been set up, money has been raised to save rare animals, thousands of national parks have been established and laws have been passed to prohibit killing endangered animals.
