COMPETITION RULES 1.DENOMINATION VII CASTILLA Y LEÓN K-4 INTERNATIONAL GRAND PRIX a.XIIV “Valladolid City” International k-4 Trophy b.XLVIII Sanabria International Boat race 2.ORGANISATION The Royal Spanish Canoe Federation (R.S.C.F) is the competition Organiser and Castilla y León Canoe Federation is in charge of its execution. 3.SPONSORS The sponsors are Castilla y León Regional Government and those official sponsors of the competitions that constitute the International Grand Prix: City Hall of Valladolid, the County Council of Zamora, the County Council of Valladolid.

5. 4.INTERNATIONAL GRAND PRIX COMPETITIONS a.XIV “Valladolid City” International k-4 Trophy: Date: 16 th of July 2011 Place:Playa de las Moreras-Valladolid Hour:Starts at 12:00 am. Distance:5,000 m, Flat water, with 3 turns b.XLVIII Sanabria International Boat race: Date: 17 th of July 2011 Place:Lago de Sanabria, Parque Natural de Sanabria, Zamora. Hour:Starts at 12:00 am. Distance:5,000 m, Flatwater, with 3 turns

6. 5.CATEGORIES The INTERNATIONAL GRAND PRIX, by national teams, will be in SENIOR category. According to the I.C.F regulation and to the general and technical regulations of the R.S.C.F, the following categories can take part:   Senior Men and Women   U-23 Men and Women   Junior Men and Women 6.REGULATIONS The INTERNATIONAL GRAND PRIX, by national teams in K-4, shall comply the I.C.F. regulations and these rules. The VI Castilla y León International Grand Prix shall comply the R.F.E.P. general and technical regulations and these rules.

7. 7.PARTICIPATION AND REGISTERING Participation of National Teams: The foreign teams wishing to take part in the competition shall register through their National Federation with the official forms, and send it to: Real Federación Española de Piragüismo c/ Antracita,7 28045 Madrid Tel: +34 91 506 43 00 Fax:+34 91 506 43 04 At the Delegates’ meeting, paddlers must present passport or identity card and written authorisation by their National Federation. 8.CLOTHING The paddlers must wear the official clothing of the country they represent, which shall be the same for the four paddlers.

9. Qualification of National Teams The Qualification by National Teams will be done adding all the points obtained by the K-4 Men and K-4 Women boats of a same country. 10.TROPHIES AND PRIZES The trophies and prizes will be given once the Sanabria International Boat race is finished and will be as follows: GRAND PRIX BY NATIONAL TEAMS Prize and Trophy to the first three k-4 MEN AND K-4 WOMEN boats Prize and Trophy to the first three NATIONAL TEAMS CASTILLA Y LEON INTERNATIONAL GRAND PRIX Prize and Trophy to the first five k-4 MEN Prize and Trophy to the first K-4 WOMEN boats 11.TROPHIES AWARDING The awarded paddlers must receive their trophies with the sport clothing of the country they represent.
