2 PIGS BEHAVIOR PIGS CONSTANTLY COMMUNICATE WITH ONE ANOTHER OTHER. THEY HAVE MANY DIFFERENT OINKS, GRUNTS, AND SQUEALS WHICH HAVE MEANINGS. PIGS HAVE ABOUT 20 DIFFERENT NOISES. EVEN KNOW THEY ROLE AROUND IN MUD, PIGS ARE VERY CLEAN ANIMALS. PIGS GO TO THE BATHROOM AS FAR AS POSSIBLE FROM WHERE THEY LIE DOWN. PIGS CAN GET SUNBURN LIKE HUMANS. THE MUD PROTECTS THEM WHEN THEY LIE IN MUD THE COOL AND THE MUD PROTECTS THEM FROM FLIES AND OTHER PARASITES.

3 PIG TYPES GUINEA HOGS! THEY ARE FOUND IN NORTH AMERICA BUT BELIEVED TO BE DESCENDANTS BROUGHT FROM AFRICA. THEY ARE COMPLETELY BLACK AND LOVE TO GRAZE. FERAL PIGS! THEY ARE ALSO KNOWN AS WILD BOARS. THEY HAVE DIFFERENT NAMES DEPENDING ON THE PLACE. THEIR EARS ARE UPRIGHT AND POINTED FORWARD. THEY ARE ROUGH LOOKING AND SHAGGY. SWABIAN HALL SWINE! THEY ARE FROM GERMANY AND THEY ARE ALSO FAMOUS FOR THEIR MEAT. THEY HAVE A BLACK HEAD AND TAIL. POTBELLY PIGS! ALSO KNOWN AS VIETNAMESE POTBELLIES. THEIR AVERAGE WEIGHT IS 90-150 POUNDS. FOR THEM 4 IS CONSIDERED AN ADULT. THEY HAVE A SHORT NOSE AND A STRAIGHT TAIL.

4 WHAT PIGS EAT IF YOU HAVE A PET PIG DON’T GIVE IT CANNED THINGS, CHOCOLATE, MEAT, AND MILK PRODUCTS PIGS SHOULD HAVE GRAINS,VEGGIES,AND THEY LOVE FRUITS. WILD PIGS SUCH AS FERAL PIGS HUNT.

5 FUN FACTS! PIGS USUALLY COME IN A LITTER OF ABOUT 6 PIGS ARE FOUND EVERYWHERE BUT ANTARCTICA. BEFORE BEING BORN A PIG GROWS INSIDE IT’S MOTHER FOR 6 WEEKS. PIGS LIKE PLAY FIGHTING AND THROWING THINGS IN THE AIR FOR FUN.
