3 The Vessels The Aron was constructed of a gold box in a wood box in a larger gold box- The lid was gold with two golden Chruvim on top (held the Luchot) The Shulchan was used to hold the Lechem Hapanim from the Kohanim ate The Mizbayech was used to bring Korbanot (there were two mizbachot Zahav and Nechoshet) The Zahav was for Ketoret and the Nechoshet was for other Korbanot The Kiyor was made from the copper mirrors of the women in Bnei Yisrael
