Use ir + a to say that someone is going to a specific place Voy a la bibliotecaI’m going to the library. Ellos van a la oficina.They go to the office. When a is followed by the word el, they combine to form the contraction al. (a + el = al) Nosotros vamos al gimnasio.We go to the gym.
