5.  WHAT we did:  Delivering healthy fruit trays with a poem to each grade  WHY we did it:  Show peers you can replace unhealthy foods with healthy foods AND still have a tradition  We LEARNED:  You can still have parties and holidays and still have healthy fun treats

7.  WHAT we did:  Elgin Booth: “Try This Not That” Whole Grains Facilitated by OHSU Nursing Student- Nicole Stanford  Our booth explained why processed grains were unhealthy AND why whole grains are healthy.  WHY we did it:  Taught our peers what foods were healthy and what foods were unhealthy  We LEARNED:  Food companies process foods by taking off the outer healthy shell of the whole grain before they bag them.
