In the year of 2011 cheerleading was voted by law to be an actual sport. People kept debating that is was or wasn’t a sport. People finally agreed to call it a real sport. People were saying that they were wrong.

Cheerleading isn’t just only for girls it can be for boys as well. Many cheer teams have boys on them. Its mostly competition teams that have a lot of boys on them. People say that it is only a girls sport.

I enjoy cheerleading. Cheer is my favorite sport. I enjoy to cheer because I think that it is very fun. Being on a cheer team is very fun because a lot of my friends are on my cheer team. My cheer team is like my second family.

There are cheer competitions all over the world all the time. Many teams come from all over to go to Worlds. Worlds is a huge competition that happens every single year. Many cheer teams wish to compete in Worlds.

Cheer was ranked to be the number one most dangerous contact sport. Cheer has the most injuries out of all sports each year.

Cheer takes a lot of practice. Some cheer teams practice every day of the week just to perfect their performance.

At first cheer stared out as all boys. When world war 2 started and all of the guys went out to war the girls took over cheerleading. Not a lot of people know this. Now a days cheer has mostly girls on their teams.
