Development is based on self-reliance and is a self- directed process (The Report of the South Commission). Mboya & Associates has as its strategic goal to promote, assist and invest in the development agenda of Africa. Based on this value we will professionally coordinate and facilitate the implementation of projects and programs on the continent by bringing both financial and human resources that will not only facilitate development in Africa but will also provide the highest rate of returns on investments unmatched in any part of the world.
Executive Summary Mboya & Associates works with African investors and institutions that are interested in contributing in the development of Africa and will facilitate their investment programs and projects by bringing them directly in contact with key players in the host countries and unblock any barriers to investments. In addition, Mboya & Associates will collectively identify urgent development needs and priorities of the host government. These development needs and priorities will then be transferred into a program or projects by Mboya & Associates and made part of the overall investment program or project. Therefore, for every investment program or project, a reserved percentage of the total cost will be devoted to a development program or project collectively identified for the host country. PREVIOUS PROJECTS UNIVERSITY OF THE WESTERN CAPE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH The R52 million contract for the construction of a new multi-storey office and teaching facility for the School of Public Health at the University of the Western Cape. Completed November 2008. CORAL INTERNATIONAL NEW CAPE CORAL HOTEL CAPE TOWN The R144 million luxury Coral hotel is situated on the corner of Wale and Buitengracht streets in Cape Town CBD. It will offer a total of 140 rooms and suites. OOSTENBERG INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY The facility is an integrated waste management facility which encompasses waste handling and transfer plus minimization strategies, public drop off area, areas for new technologies, areas for job creation through usage of recyclable materials, etc. This facility will only receive domestic waste and non-hazardous commercial and industrial waste. This contract will be complete by August 2010. SANDF LANGEBAAN 4 SPECIAL FORCES REGIMENT – SALAMANDER BOAT PARK 4 SF Regiment provides South Africa its seaward Special Forces capability. The regiment consists of three operational commandos and a Special Forces amphibious and urban school. This contract consists of two different components. One being the construction of a quay wall and the other the actual building itself. Nautica La Bella Gordon’s bay, Western Cape DESCRIPTION: La Bella is a sectional title security complex consisting out of eleven clusters. Mont Blanc Gordon’s bay, Western Cape DESCRIPTION: Mont Blanc is a sectional title security complex consisting out of 12 clusters. Lulurai Somerset West, Western Cape DESCRIPTION: Security complex close to the Medi-Clinic hospital, N2 highway, Somerset West CBD.
