3 Consumer’s must send in their premium payments as soon as statements are received. In addition to the mailing addresses listed, consumer’s enrolled in ConnectiCare and Anthem Health Plans can make their payments online. ConnectiCare also allows consumers to make payments at any People’s United Bank location. Scenario Payment Locations Scenario

5 Anthem and Healthy CT have extended their January payment deadlines to the following: o Healthy CT has extended their deadline until 01/17 o Anthem has extended their deadline until 01/31 Scenario Payment Extensions Scenario

6 Consumers whose employer or existing Health Coverage is ending on 01/31 will be eligible to receive coverage through the exchange effective 03/01. This coverage effective date is determined by the 15 day rule which states that applicants who enroll in coverage after the 15 th of a given month will have a coverage effective date of the first of the following month. If a consumer loses coverage on 01/31, the consumer will have to apply for coverage through Cobra to prevent a lapse in coverage. Scenario Loss of Health Coverage on 01/31 Scenario

7 Only the following two special enrollment events qualify an applicant for retroactive coverage starting from the trigger date of the event: The birth of a child in the last 60 days. A household member had been adopted or placed for adoption in the last 60 days. If an applicant has been married in the last 60 days, the coverage effective date begins the 1 st of the month following the event. Scenario Retroactive Special Enrollment Events Scenario

8 A field level display issue has been encountered on the Annual Income page: This page asked the consumer for their 2013 and 2014 income information. After the consumer saves the information, the on screen field level changes to 2014 and 2015 income information This is a known issue that is being resolved and does not affect the eligibility determination.
