Matthew 5: 21-24

Matthew 5:22 “But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment”

Matthew 5:23-24 “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift”

Be calm and open minded to protect yourself from anger. If you become angry, don’t stay angry for long. “Do not let the sun go down on your wrath” (Ephesians 4: 26) Control your tongue and your actions. Don’t talk when you’re angry because there is a bigger chance that you’ll sin. “Be angry, and do not sin” (Ephesians 4:26) Only start any discussion when you’re calm.

Mathew 5:37 “But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’, and your ‘No’, ‘No’. For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
