2. Try this one From 80 to 115 = 0.4375 = 43.75% Write the answer as a percent. Simplify the numerator. Simplify the fraction. 80 to 115 is an increase, so a change from 80 to 115 is a 43.75% increase. Find the percent change. Tell whether it is a percent increase or decrease.

6. Micron Foundation and Idaho Stampede has created this Challenge to show how Math is used everyday, including in the sports world. The program includes more than 1,800 students in the valley that are competing for a grand prize. The winning classroom (not school, but individual classroom) will earn a grant for their school from the Micron Foundation. The classroom will also win a trip to Salt Lake City to see a Utah Jazz game (all expenses paid).

7. Throughout the next couple months until March: KEEP your Idaho Stampede Booklet and complete problems when they are assigned. Problems will NOT be assigned in order. We will use the booklets to prepare for the Stampede Challenge Test in March.
