Uranus By Bryan

Uranus facts It has a atmosphere of hydrogen, methane, and helium. From Earth it looks like Uranus is on its side. Uranus has two poles At different times you can directly see one of its poles. The upper atmosphere is so cold that the methane forms the blue green cloud because it is so cold.

Planet Facts pg.2 Uranus's winds are so strong it can blow up to 600 km per hour. It’s magnetic force is very strong on Uranus. The rings of Uranus were not discovered until 1997. It has 11 rings that are very close to each other. Some if the moons are inside its rings. Uranus might have 21 moons. Uranus is nicknamed the sideways planet. Uranus is very small compared to the Sun, but it is a very big planet.

Planet Facts p3 Uranus is 1.7 billion miles away from the Sun at the closest time. It is 1.87 billion miles away from the Sun, at the farthest point of its orbit. It is the 7 th planet from the Sun. Its length of the day is 17 hours and 14 minutes. Its length of the year is 87 earth years. Its diameter is 32,000 miles. The amount of moons is 18-29. Its average temperature is –328F. Its number of times of earths gravity is 0.93 times Earths gravity.

Pictures of my planet These are pictures of Uranus

Moons The two circles with the dot in them are two of Uranus’s moons.
