12. Do you want to give back to your community? Do you need to increase the “Service & Volunteer Activities” portion of your resume? …consider joining the Interact Club. This club will design and implement two service projects over the course of the school year and will work in conjunction with the Woodstock Rotary Club. All Students

13. Hearing & Vision Screening The Lions Club Vision and Hearing Screenings will be done on Monday, September 26, 2011, for all 10th grade and new students. Please remember to wear your glasses or contacts on that day. If you have any questions please see the school nurse in the clinic during lunch. 27. SunTrust Off To College 2011- 2012 Sweepstakes Registration Begins Sept 16, 2011 Students can win a $1,000 scholarship for education expenses at an accredited college or private career school.

30. To honor Hispanic Heritage Month, Colgate-Palmolive Company proudly announces the return of its scholarship program “Haz la U” or “Make the U”. This program, launched in partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), aims to award educational grants to eligible Hispanic students pursuing higher education.
