20 Support to EMA2 incoming grantees

21 Before arrival Once the grantee has completed the official acceptance form the incoming process at Deusto starts: 1. Support with visa: UD gets in contact with Embassies directly in order to support the student’s visa application process. The same documents are sent and the programme is explained so that the process is faster. 2. Accommodation is arranged: UD’s accommodation service offers different options: halls of residence, families, sharing with other students with pictures before arrival so that incoming grantees always have accommodation upon arrival. 3. Learning Agreement: Support in negociating the Learning agreement before arrival with the home university

32 Dublin is the primary centre of education in Ireland, with three universities and many other higher education institutions. There are 20 third-level institutes in the city. The associated constituent university of University College Dublin (UCD) has its seat in Dublin. The UCD is the largest university in Ireland with over 22,000 students. UCD's main campus at Belfield is located about 5 km south east of the city centre. For over 150 years, UCD has produced graduates of remarkable distinction including famous surgeons, architects, entrepreneurs and five of Ireland’s Taoisigh (Prime Ministers). One of the best known of all its graduates is the writer James Joyce, who completed his Bachelor of Arts at the university in 1902.

37 Université Lille 1 currently has approximately 20,000 students and is built on 110 hectares with 4 campuses. It is one of the largest scientific universities in France. Constantly developing high-level research in all of its taught disciplines. The teaching and research missions of the University are closely linked and interdependent on one another.
