2 How To Prepare for Worship as a Leader “I want all or nothing.”  Deuteronomy 6: 4-9 says, “4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. 3 How do we prepare to worship?  A Committed Devotional Life  Recognition and acknowledgement of the holiness of God.  Leviticus 20:7-8, “You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. 8 And you shall keep my statutes and practice them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you.”  Leviticus teaches God's people how they are to approach Him and live pleasing in His sight. 5  Some practical things to help make you more ready for Sunday:  Lay out your clothes the night before  Go to bed much earlier than usual  Fasting until church service is over on Sunday  But it’s really much more than that a few “tips” that will prepare you to come into the presence of the holy, true and living God.
