In the same period of time Denmark received a number of prominent guests such as Premier Wen Jiabao in 2009 and President Hu Jintao in 2012. This has contributed to relations between Denmark and China being at “an all-time high”, according to Liu Yunshan, 10 June 2014. Since 2009 60 bilateral government agreements has been signed including the 16 agreements signed during the State Visit in April 2014. INCREASING POLITICAL INTERACTION

A degree from China: A good asset Since China is a leading economic force in the world, knowledge about china is a highly valued skill in the job marked 2. Top universities China has 25 institutions in the QS World University Rankings 2013/2014 3. China is a popular student destination About 320,000 overseas students chose to study in China in 2012, an increase of 55,000 since 2010. 4. The Chinese government prioritize education The government intends to raise the number of international students to 500,000 by 2020. 14 Minimum clear margin for text Fixed margin Keep heading in CAPITALS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY: THE SINO-DANISH CENTRE FOR EDUCATION AND RESEARCH SDC is a joint project on education and research between the eight Danish universities, the Danish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences SDC works closely together with companies and organizations in China to offer students project work, internships and relevant work experience Students at SDC are offered extracurricular Chinese language courses Students at SDC will be part of an international learning environment studying together with Chinese and international students You receive a double degree upon fulfilment of the programme - one from a Danish University and one from UCAS UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK 14
