2. The city hall was built in 1928. It is 32 stories high and 454 feet tall. For many years by law it was the tallest building in downtown Los Angeles.

36. The End These photos are from a 2012 trip, our last trip to Los Angeles. The tour of the City Hall is conducted by the Los Angeles Conservancy. It is a great tour. In our group there were a lot of Los Angelenos who added interesting commentary including a fellow whose grandfather owned the land on which the City Hall sits.
