The process provides an independent validation of the degree to which the organisation has implemented Excellent Approaches and achieved Excellent Results. 14 © EFQM 2014 Purpose of a Site Visit To acquire the information needed in order to provide the most value-adding feedback to the organisation being assessed, by: Confirming the validity of the written information and data already seen and analysed; Clarifying any unclear aspects within the written information and data; Gathering new and additional information and data; Gaining a sense of the atmosphere in the organisation; Providing the input to arrive at the final assessment findings and the Scores.
