Old  She met Mother Mary de Sales Chappuis, superior of the monastery and Fr. Brisson, chaplain  At 22 years of age, she made a retreat at the Troyes Visitation  At this time, Fr. Brisson asked her to assist in the ministry to young women working in factories

Leonie Aviat (continued)  On April 18, 1866, she assumed responsibility for the Girl’s club  On Oct. 11, 1871, she professed her first vows as Leonie Aviat Sister Francis de Sales in a new congregation, Oblate Sisters of Francis de Sales  Students received both religious and professional training

16. Mary de Sales Chappuis- 1793-1875 Born: June 16, 1793 in Soyhieres- small village in the Swiss Jura Her birth name was Marie Teresa Chappuis 7 th of 11 children Sent to school at the Visitation in Fribourg, Switzerland when she is 12
