Name - renown, what one is known for, reputation, fame, glory Lord - יהוה, יְהוִה YHWH, translated as “LORD”, Jehovah = “the existing One” God - Plural of “God” Vain - empty, vain, false, nothing

1. To take God’s name in vain must be serious Don’t treat what God is known for as empty and worthless. Don’t empty God of the weight of his awesomeness. Stop using God’s reputation in empty ways. Don’t abuse God’s fame with your hollow words and actions. Don’t treat God’s name like it’s nothing.
