Hypericum Cream Hypericum cream is to be thought of for injuries to areas rich in nerves, such as the fingertips, the toes, and the spine. It is a specific for injuries to the coccyx. Hypericum is much more effective than Arnica for these types of injuries. The leading symptoms that bring one to Hypericum for injuries are the location of the injury, and the pains that radiate or extend up and down from the site of the injury.

Hypericum for Spinal Chord Injuries Hypericum can produce miraculous results in spinal chord injuries. In this situation the pain often radiates to different areas of the spine and up to the head. For serious injuries of this kind please consult your homeopath or doctor. You may benefit from Hypericum in a 30C or 200C strength. The cream is usually not adequate in this situation, but will offer some relief.

Hypericum for Head Injuries Hypericum is one of the most important remedies for head injuries. It can be thought of for convulsions following head injuries and for loss of memory following head injuries.

Hypericum - Nerve Injuries Hypericum should be thought of for injuries to areas rich in nerves, such as the toes, fingers and spine. Remember Hypericum for wounds that are very painful. You can combine Calendula cream with Hypericum cream for very painful wounds. Hypericum is good for shooting or lancinating pains along the course of the nerves, radiating from the site of the injury.

Hypericum following Childbirth Hypericum can be very helpful for the pain of epidurals, or if there has been a forceps delivery. Think of Hypericum for women who have pain in the coccyx or the spine ever since childbirth.

Hypericum for Insect and Animal Bites Hypericum and Ledum are the first remedies to be thought of for animal or insect bites. Both remedies prevent tetanus. Think of Hypericum for insect or animal bites where you have shooting pains along the course of the nerve from the site of the bite. For serious bites, please go to the emergency room. For minor bites the cream can be very helpful. You may also need to take the remedy in potency. This is a picture of a brown recluse spider.

Hypericum - Other Uses Hypericum can be very helpful for excessively painful hemorrhoids. It can be applied topically or taken as a potentized remedy. Hypericum is one of the remedies I include in my surgery packet. It helps with pain from abdominal surgery; pain from inguinal or hiatal hernia surgery and pain from laparotomy. It also helps with surgery to areas rich in nerves, such as the toes and fingers. Hypericum helps with the pain from painful boils, abscesses and cysts. Hypericum can help with the after-effects of spinal chord injuries, such as asthma following an injury to the spine. Hypericum is also good for the mental effects, such as depression from injuries to the head or spine. Hypericum can help with pain in the teeth to buy you time until you get to the dentist. If Hypericum does not help in this situation, please try Arnica.

Hypericum - Precautions Hypericum should never be taken prior to surgery as it can interfere with anesthesia. Instead take Arnica prior to surgery to help with shock and trauma, and use Hypericum after surgery for pain.

Hypericum - When to Use the Cream As you can see Hypericum is a remedy of many invaluable uses. In the topical form it can be used for injuries to the fingers and toes, for painful wounds, for injuries to the back, for painful hemorrhoids, and for insect and animal bites.
