“My goal is to help interested individuals become more competent, confident and credible so they can serve their leaders as more trusted change advisors.” This Powernoodle Solution Was developed with Powernoodle Expert: Liz Guthridge 2 Liz works with leaders to influence employees to get on board with change. She helps leaders gain clarity around change so they can share their vision, explain their goals and clearly articulate their “ask” of team members, peers and other employees who often don’t work for them.

About Powernoodle Change advisors have a number of options for professional development and self-improvement, including training classes, coaching, mentoring and networking. Powernoodle can either supplement or replace these options because it offers some distinctive benefits:. 3  Confidential  Convenient  Candid  More diverse voices  Efficient

The Powernoodle Approach – Simple yet Powerful Leaders of all types of organizations—for-profit, non-profit and government—are in great need of trusted change advisors to help deal with:  Faster, more volatile change on top of complex challenges and responsibilities, many of which are global  More diverse stakeholders who want to have a voice in the change  With complexity, desire for greater simplicity and speed that cuts through clutter and provides sounding boards to provide insights, test ideas, and help execute 4

This Powernoodle is designed to enable a group of trusted advisors, peers and mentors to explore these issues with you and come up with ideas for action. These trusted advisors can be within the same organization or outside. If outside, Powernoodle helps the advisors work together as their own sounding board in a powerful and flexible Mastermind group. 5 Build your own feelings of competence, confidence and credibility

Your first step is clarify for yourself your own strengths that you bring to your role as a change advisor. Then, consider areas you wish to strengthen or improve. In this Powernoodle, you will organize a session to draw on the wisdom of the group to answer three key questions related to the many different roles you may play as a trusted change advisor – sounding board, coach, execution support, communicator. You will also share the insights collected in the Powernoodle Report with your Participant group. Preparing Your Powernoodle 6

The Powernoodle Organizer’s job  The Organizer creates the session, invites Participants, and leads the group through the Powernoodle steps: Brainstorm, Categorize, Combine, Vote, Rate, Prioritize, and Action Plan.  Depending on the session’s purpose, the Organizer is able to customize the Powernoodle as needed.  Every Powernoodle creates a Powernoodle Report, a complete record of the viewpoints expressed in a downloadable spreadsheet. 7

To get started, as the Organizer you will: 1.Create the Powernoodle Session. 2.Create three questions: What does it mean to be a competent change advisor these days? How do you feel and act confident and build credibility? How do you deal with changes and challenges yourself? 3.Invite all participants via email into the Powernoodle Session.
