2  Figures are congruent if you can slide, flip or turn them.  If you know that two triangles are congruent then you can list their congruent sides and angles.  Practice problems Page 200 3-35all, 38-41all, 44, 45

3  You need to know how to use the postulates SSS and SAS to prove two triangles are congruent.  You will be able to use your theorem, postulate, and corollary section of your notebook for this quiz.  Practice problems Page 208 1-32all, 34-39all

4  You will need to know postulate ASA and theorem AAS and how to use them to prove two triangles congruent.  When proving two triangles congruent you may choose to use either a flow or two-column proof, which either you feel more comfortable.  Practice problems Page 215 1-8all, 10-16all, 20-23all, 25

5  Once you have proven two triangles congruent, you can concluded that their parts are also congruent. You can therefore use CPCTC, which stands for Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles are Congruent.  You may not use CPCTC until you have proven the two triangles congruent.  Practice problems Page 222 2, 3, 6-11all, 15, 16, 18, 19
