Enlarge Your Image of God

Seeing God as your personal Prince of peace means you’re not allowed to worry anymore; peace and worry cannot coexist. ~ Graham Cooke

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?... For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ~ Matt 6:25, 32-33

The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:5b-7

Are you a sinner who struggles in the love of God, or are you a lover of God who occasionally struggles with sin? ~ Graham Cooke

For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin---because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. ~ Rom. 6:6-7

…we should be fascinated about what God might do. We must believe God is our provider and become intrigued by how He might meet our needs. ~Graham Cooke

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. ~ Eph. 6:18

We put up with all kinds of nonsense in our culture, our society, our communities, and our families. When our backs are up against the wall, we should fight with everything in us…We must not become resigned to the situations around us; we must look constantly for the power of God to break through for us. ~ Graham Cooke

Confession of the True Image of God Jesus, You are my peace. No worry; no fear is bigger than You. I renounce worry. I don’t permit it in my life. I trust in YOU. I am a lover of God. God loves me completely. I am a son/daughter of God. My old sinful nature is dead and gone. I sometimes sin; God always forgives me. All I need to do is ask.

Confession of the True Image of God God is my Provider. I bring needs to Jesus. I will obey YOU. I will be intrigued by how You meet my needs. God is active on my behalf. I invite God’s presence and use the authority You gave me in Jesus’ name. I will not resign myself to allow evil in my family, work, and community. Jesus is delighted with me. God loves me fully. You are interested in every area of my life. I invite You Jesus into every part of me. God’s love for me is never less than 100%.
