2. Cheetahs The cheetahs main diet is gazelle and impalas. One of a cheetahs strides is equaled to eight metres. There are only about 10,000 still in the wild. Cheetahs also have very good eyesight. They are the worlds fastest mammal and can go from 0 to 60mp/h in 3 seconds!

3. CHEETAHS 2 Their scientific name is acinonyx jubatus. They weigh between 110 and 140 pounds. They live between 10 and 20 years. Their main predators are eagles, humans, hyenas and lions.

4. LIONS The lions main diet is buffalo, zebras and wilderbeast. Lions are the only big cats to live in a large group known as a pride. The lioness does most of the hunting where as the male lion defends their territory. There are only about 20,000 left in the wild.

5. LIONS 2 Their scientific name is panthera leo. They weigh between 330 to 500 pounds. They can live up to 13 years in captivity. Their main predators are humans.

6. DIFFERENCES The lion roars but the cheetah purrs. While hunting the cheetah uses speed and agility where as the lion uses power and strength. The lion is larger than the cheetah. Cheetahs tend to live longer than lions. Lions weigh considerably more than cheetahs.
