4 Graduation Requirements While the provincial requirements are 80 credits to graduate, KSS recommends Grade 12s to carry a minimum of 88 credits Grade 10 English Social Studies Mathematics Science PE or Dance Fitness Electives from Fine Arts or Applied Skills Grade 12 English At least 3 additional Grade 12 Courses Grad Transitions 12 Electives aimed towards Focus Area and/or Post Secondary Entrance Requirements Grade 11 English Social Studies Mathematics Science Planning / ADC Electives aimed towards Focus Area and/or Post Secondary Entrance Requirements

5 Grad Transitions 12 Students must complete and document: 30 hours of work and/or volunteer work 150 minutes per week of moderate to vigorous physical activity representing a healthy, active lifestyle District MAP preparation and presentation http://www.kss.sd23.bc.ca

6 Graduation vs Post-Secondary Requirements Post-Secondary Institute entrance requirements are different from Graduation requirements Each program has its own entrance requirements Students must check carefully for the requirements of their chosen programs

9 Financial Support Post-Secondary Funding Any financial opportunities that come through KSS will be advertised on the school website, and the grade 12 information board outside the counseling office. Students should also be checking other sources for financial assistance.
